One Minut Home Sensor covers approximately 70 m² (753 ft²), equivalent to a large room or outdoor area. Most of our customers put their device in the area where people are likely to gather, like the living room or patio.
The motion detection range alone is approximately 25 m² (269 ft²) in a circle around the unit when mounted at a standard ceiling height of 2.4 meters (7.9 ft). Minut battery lasts up to one year, so it will have to be removed periodically for charging.
If you’re using Minut indoors, you can also install the sensor on the wall, permanently plugged into a power outlet to eliminate the need for charging. You should not leave Minut plugged in outdoors.
