At Minut, we’re constantly working on making property management easier - that’s why we are excited to launch the three features you most requested: Guest Connect, an automated monitoring solution that contacts the guest on your behalf whenever the noise gets too loud, and integrations with property management systems and Zapier. Designed with hosts and professional property managers’ needs in mind, they will be introduced as part of our new subscription plan, Minut Pro.
Created for busy hosts who would rather dedicate their time to growing their business than chasing troublesome guests, Guest Connect makes noise monitoring simple and unburdensome, only requiring your involvement as the absolute last resort.
You can now make your Minut flash and sound and/or send a text message to the guest when the noise levels have exceeded the threshold for the time you have specified in the app (we recommend 5-15min intervals). This way, your guests will be notified that they need to keep the noise down swiftly, allowing for quick reaction on your part even if it’s the middle of the night or a very busy day. And since most guests quiet down after they get a warning, Guest Connect will prevent property damage and resolve most noise complaints before you need to step in - allowing for a largely hands-off monitoring experience.
You will, of course, still receive a notification whenever we contact the guest, so you can always take the matter in your own hands, but you will no longer need to be constantly available, and the feature can be set up in minutes. All you need to do in advance is adjust your thresholds and add the guest’s details (read more about the setup here). Once your guest arrives, you can relax and enjoy true peace of mind knowing your property is being monitored for you.
With this new feature release, you will also be able to make your day-to-day operations easier by integrating Minut with your property management system. That means you’ll get a more complete insight into your rentals, collecting the sensor and booking data in one place, and you won’t have to worry about populating the same information over and over again. In other words, you will be spending less time and resources on monitoring your property, and more on growing your business.
We’re kicking this feature off with Guesty as our first PMS partner, but there are more integrations to come in the near future, so that every property manager can enjoy a more seamless Minut experience. And if you require a more custom solution, you will also be able to benefit from our Zapier integration or request API access as part of the Pro plan.
We’re confident that the three new features - Guest Connect, PMS and Zapier integrations - will already make a significant impact on your everyday work as a host, but this is also just the start.
