A1 is the first smart safety alarm by Minut and is designed to detect smoke and carbon monoxide.
In addition to smoke and carbon monoxide detection, A1’s connected features include indoor climate monitoring – temperature, humidity, and mold risk – plus real-time notifications if smoke, CO, or device tampering is detected.
For properties where you already use Minut, A1 adds a dedicated layer of safety protection to every rental.
Yes, wirelessly interconnect up to 10 alarms per unit. When one alarm detects smoke or CO, all of them sound.
Alarms need to be within 50 feet of each other. Minut A1 only interconnects with other A1 alarms.
You can set up A1 to run automatic tests between bookings. Choose your schedule in the Minut app and the alarm will test itself, just as it would if you pressed the alarm's test button manually.
Results are logged in the Minut app event log for compliance and record keeping.
You'll get a real-time alert if someone tries to tamper with the alarm.
A1 has a 10-year sealed, non-replaceable battery that powers the core safety functionality of the alarm.
Wi-Fi and connectivity features are powered with a Panasonic CR123A or Duracell DL123A replaceable battery. This powers the connected features including access and linking to the Minut app and wireless interconnection with other A1 devices.
You'll get a notification in the Minut app when the battery needs replacing and/or if the core alarm is nearing end of life, in addition to local chirps.
A Minut plan connects A1 to the Minut platform, turning it into a smart alarm that understands your property and bookings. Connected features include real-time alerts, remote testing, tamper detection, audit logs, and alarm interconnection.
A1 can be added to any existing Minut unit. For properties not yet on Minut, a plan is required to unlock the smart features.
Without a plan or network connection, A1 still detects smoke and CO and sounds a local siren.
