With a large – and ever-expanding – portfolio of over 500 properties in several locations, Guestit’s team is always on the lookout for ways of improving guest experience and guaranteeing them a premium stay. In 2018, after a few unauthorized party disturbances and complaints, they decided to double down on home security and find a way to remotely monitor noise and occupancy in their rentals. Although these incidents were rare, Guestit saw security as the key driver for scaling its business with professional property owners, hence addressing this problem together with Minut. Maintaining guest and neighborhood confidence and safety is still their highest priority.

Thanks to Minut and some preventive security actions, Guestit were able to bring down the number of excessive noise incidents close to zero. They can now rent out their properties with the confidence that, if an excessive noise complaint were to be made, they’d have all the keys in hand to verify whether it had actually occurred in one of their homes – and if so, take necessary action to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
